How to Root Infinix, Innjoo, Tecno Android Phone

Rooting Android devices is a straight forward process if you follow the procedure diligently. This article will show the steps to root any MTK device running Android OS. Latest MTK Android phones include Innjoo Fire, Innjoo Note Pro, Infinix Hot Note, Infinix Zero 2, Tecno J7 etc. Rooting these devices gives you access to enhance your Android experience.
Rooting your andriod
1. Make sure you have at least 50mb on your data subscription (The app itself would need less than 10mb).
2. Switch on your data connection and make sure it is on 3G connection
3. Go to “Settings” > “All Settings” > “Security”, then locate “Unknown sources” and check the box beside it.
4. Download the latest Kingroot here. (5.27)mband install on your device
5. After installation, open the Kingroot app and click on the big Green Circle and wait while the rooting is being done.
6. If your network is strong it would not take long. Once completed successfully, you will see the big white tick in the green circle.
7. Restart your device
8. Download RootChecker from Playstore to confirm that your device has been rooted (optional)
9. Download and install Superuser from Google Playstore
10. After installation, run and on the pop up screen, give it full permission “forever”
11. Enjoy your device.
Don't run any system update when rooted it may brick your phone!!
How to Temporary Unroot Your Android Phone for System (OS) Update
1. If you must update your Android OS, download and install Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper from here
2. Run and grant it full superuser permission
3. Locate and click on “Protect Root”
4. Tap on “Temp. un-root (Keeps backup)”
5. Run your System update safely.
6. After updating, run the Voodoo OTA and restore your Superuser neatly.
7. Remember that it works only on MTK phones and other devices that run the ext3/4 filesystem.
